TULSA, OK -- VYPE – High School Sports Magazine is proud to announce their first launch date in the Greater Houston area later this summer. The Houston-area publication is owned by FocusOn Sports, LLC, a subsidiary of Wichita, KS based CGF Industries, Inc. The publication will be introduced with a city wide Football Preview in August.

After the preview, the magazine will focus on the high school sports scene in several northwest Houston school districts (Katy, Cypress Fairbanks, Spring Branch, and Alief. The free monthly magazine is a full glossy publication that focuses on the positive and community side of all high school sports.

In the spring of 2009, VYPE will be launching in North Houston to cover the likes of Klein, Spring, Conroe, Montgomery and Magnolia. This will be followed by the company’s Fort Bend/Pearland launch in the fall of 2009 and the Humble/Golden Triangle launch in the spring of 2010.

VYPE – High School Sports Magazine has publications in 14 different markets across the country to include Dallas, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Little Rock, Ark., Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Wichita, Raleigh, Reading, PA., and New Jersey, just to name a few. The media outlet prints over 200,000 publications a month.

The four Houston-area publications are managed by Matt Malatesta, who also covers high school football recruiting for Rivals.com, 97.5FM ESPN the Ticket and the Houston Chronicle.
